As captain of his own live-aboard 47-foot catamaran, Block leads guests year-round in scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, spear fishing and other excursions from Nassau to the Exumas.
"It’s magical. The air is so clean, the water, magnificently beautiful, and I’m not inundated 24 hours a day with ‘shop here,’ ‘vote here’ or ‘get involved in this discussion,’” said Block, who talked by phone last week while he watched a loggerhead turtle under his canal-front dock on Coral Harbour. "It’s pretty, bloody amazing,” he said.
