When Titan Triggerfish Attack!

Please remember that triggerfish like the one in the video above are simply and naturally defending against what they perceive to be intruders in their territory. While you should take their defense seriously (as bites contain the natural poison Ciguatoxin and can cause serious infection), there is no need for divers to fight back. Attempts to fight back will only make triggerfish more weary of divers and more likely to attack in the future.

Simply swim fast and far away until any pursuit has ended.
